  • ARenaX: Dinosaurs of Darkness (Also available online)

    Become a paleontologist for a day in this facilitated online experience, where you will explore Polar Victoria, Australia as it was during the Cretaceous period. Encounter and learn more about the elusive creatures and dinosaurs which roamed the land, examining their adaptations and similarities with modern animals. Through the workshop, you will solve problems, conquer challenges, and learn important scientific concepts in the process. This workshop was created by Science Centre Singapore and Digimagic Communications, with expert knowledge provided by Emerita Professor Patricia Vickers-Rich. Join us and be ready to begin your adventure!

    Designed for 9 years old (Pri 3) to 15 years old (Sec 3) to attend on their own.

  • Bobalogy

    Are you a bubble tea lover? You're in for a treat! Discover the secrets behind this popular drink and learn how to make your very own pearls. Join us on a 'boba-ful' journey and you will no longer have to wait in line when you are craving for boba!

    Minimum age is 8 years old. Students below 12 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

  • DNA Workshop

    DNA is the recipe of life, let's uncover the secret behind it. See what DNA looks like by extracting it from cells, and get up close and personal with its structure by making your own DNA model! This would be a perfect opportunity for a family to learn the role of DNA in our lives, find out what traits they share and why.

    Children below 12 must be accompanied by parent with a valid ticket. Suitable for 8-12 years old and recommended for family members to attend together.

  • Force It (Also available online)

    Are you ready to turn simple materials into toys using forces? Join us for this exciting workshop where we use Science to turn your home into a toy-making factory and learn more about the different forces at play!

    Minimum age is 7 years old. Students below 12 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

  • LED's Play (Also available online)

    Ever wondered how electricity comes about? How is it possible that with a flick of the switch, the lights turn on? With all the materials to play with LEDs, learn more about electricity, circuits and even make your very own LED light-up card!

    Minimum age is 7 years old. Students below 12 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

  • Newton's Acrobats (Also available online)

    Interested in playing with gravity and making it work for you? Learn how to make your own toys that harness the pull of gravity to roll, tumble, and fall. Materials are included for you to create your very own toys and learn the science behind it all.

    Minimum age is 7 years old. Students below 12 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

  • Science of Chocolate

    What you will experience? - You get to taste and roast cacao nibs. Don’t know what are cacao nibs? Come and find out yourself. - You get to tinker with apple and chocolates to create your unique chocolate apple! - Experiment with chocolates in a laboratory and you get to eat & drink your experiment results! (Yes, you will make hot chocolate too!)

    Minimum age is 8 years old. Students below 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

  • Science of Magic

    Do you want to perform magic? Join us where all is revealed! Enjoy a private tour through the ‘Mind’s Eye Exhibition’ and a workshop. You will learn the science concepts behind magic - cut a whole rope and fix it, make coins vanished and appear behind your ear! The techniques of misdirection and obfuscation will be made apparent, all by our special in-house magician Kiki Tay!

    Suitable for 10 years old and above.

  • Unbe-LEAF-able Plants

    Tired of growing plants but unsure how to take care of them? Be-LEAF it or not, you will learn so much about plants and what they need to grow with a few simple activities, including a DIY terrarium kit where you will learn how to make a mini self-sustaining ecosystem!

    Minimum age is 7 years old. Students below 12 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

  • Wildlife Wanderer Day Camp (with PAssion Wave at Jurong Lake Gardens)

    Spend your day with Science Centre and PAssion Wave @ Jurong Lake Gardens learning the ecology around AND on the lake! Kayak with your family as you explore Chinese Garden on water and make your own foldable microscope too!

    Minimum age to register is 10 years old (as per birthdate). Children between the ages of 10 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult above 21 years of age (1 child : 1 adult).

  • World of Spectra

    Much of our understanding of the world originates from investigating visible light. In this workshop, you get to assemble your own laser-cut spectroscope and use it to explore the surprising variety in the composition of light from common sources. This workshop aims to cultivate an interest in using basic physical phenomena as tools for scientific exploration.

    Children below 12 must be accompanied by parent with a valid ticket. Not recommended for children below 10 as they need to know basic Science concepts (Primary 4 Science) before attending.

We have a series of Truly Madly Science camps specially designed for 10-12 years old only. For your child's safety, children must be between Primary 4 to Primary 6 only. Parents are not allowed to accompany their children. 

  • Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats

    You are what you eat. Did you know that carbohydrates, proteins, and fats are the building blocks of life? Join this camp and learn about Food Science as you prepare mouth-watering dishes! 

  • Chemystery

    Colour ​changing, ​bubbles ​forming, ​heat ​produced ​– ​these ​are ​some ​ways ​to ​determine ​if ​a ​chemical ​reaction ​has ​occurred. ​Try ​out ​different ​experiments ​and ​unveil ​the ​mysteries ​behind ​them. ​Beware, ​some ​experiments ​are ​not ​safe ​to ​try ​at ​home! ​

  • Engineering

    Engineers start young! Make engineering concepts simple by combining Science knowledge and modern technology to build interesting structures and machines. This holistic experience will give students a head start if they are interested in engineering.

  • Serious Gaming

    If ​you ​LOVE ​playing ​video ​games ​then ​this ​is ​the ​camp ​for ​you. ​You ​will ​be ​playing ​several ​games ​such ​as ​Minecraft, ​Kerbal ​Space ​Program, ​and ​SimplePlanes. ​While ​doing ​so, ​you ​will ​solve ​problems, ​conquer ​challenges, ​and ​most ​importantly, ​learn ​important ​scientific ​concepts ​in ​the ​process. ​What ​are ​you ​waiting ​for? ​Ready ​to ​get ​your ​game ​on?   • Survive on Science

    Food, ​water ​and ​shelter ​– ​these ​are ​the ​basic ​things ​we ​need ​to ​survive, ​whether ​in ​an ​urban ​environment ​or ​in ​the ​wilderness. ​Learn ​important ​wilderness ​survival ​skills ​such ​as ​making ​fire, ​obtaining ​drinking ​water, ​building ​a ​simple ​shelter ​and ​basic ​navigation. ​Be ​a ​survivor ​no ​matter ​what ​life ​throws ​at ​you ​– ​survive ​on ​science! ​
