Position Overview

Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, and to contribute to the nation's development of its human resource.

 

We are looking for a suitable individual to fill the position of Creative Designer, Graphic and Design department. He/She will be responsible for creating corporate and marketing collaterals across the Centre’s product range in both print and digital media. He/she will be accountable for conceptualizing new and original designs based on client specifications; and adhere to the Centre’s branding policy and quality standard. In addition, he/she will also assist with arts and crafts/handwork requests when required.

 

The duties include (and are not restricted to):

• Create new and original designs from scratch for brands based on client specifications and needs; and adhere to the Centre’s branding policy and quality standard.
• Create corporate and marketing materials (campaigns, print ads, digital media etc.) across all of Science Centre Board’s product range.
• Able to multi-task and be involved in different projects at one time.
• Assist with arts and crafts/handwork requests.

 

 

Requirements

• Able to commit 6 months.
• At least a Diploma in graphic or visual communications or related creative field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Portfolio demonstrating experiences in both traditional media and online marketing.
• Conversant in the use of design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator…) and Microsoft Office.
• Keep up to date with current trends in marketing, design, and applicable design technology.
• Is collaborative, self-motivated, and professional.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
