For thousands of years, the celestial canvas guided seafaring ancestors to our shores, using the stars as a timeless seasonal compass. But today, our planet faces a fragile future. Climate change is altering global ocean currents, triggering a domino effect of rising seas and warming waters that directly threaten our low-lying island nation.
Join us for an immersive journey, narrated live by our Science Educator. Discover how our oceans link us all, and why protecting this delicate balance is the ultimate way to safeguard Earth: Our Only Home. Featuring a musical performance by Shayne Ko, talented 10-year-old multi-instrumentalist and one of Singapore's youngest licensed buskers.

Beat the heat and cool off with a fast-paced, family-friendly water battle where teams compete to soak their opponents' base while protecting their own!

An interactive water game inspired by the classic playground favourite and “Red Light, Green Light” from Squid Game.
*Timeslots for both experiences are available every 15 minutes from 10.15am to 4.30pm. Tickets must be reserved in advance, onsite at the ticket kiosks located in the galleries.

A self-guided immersive mystery experience that takes guests on an adventure across Science Centre. Guests piece together clues, solve puzzles, and unravel the secret behind the sinking of the ship.

Put your science and math skills to the test! Using corrosion science and calculations, piece together the clues to uncover the mystery of when the ship sank.
Marine Conservation

Take on the role of a marine restoration volunteer and apply real coral gardening techniques to help rebuild a reef damaged by the SS Ombak Cahaya wreck. Using magnetic coral structures, contribute to a growing communal coral farm built collectively by all guests throughout the event.

SG Science Fest is held at Science Centre Singapore. The ONE Ocean exhibition takes place at THE ANNEXE Halls 2 & 3, and guests should enter via the main entrance of Science Centre Singapore. The Omni-Theatre and SG Science Fest Juniors @ KidsSTOP™ have their own dedicated entry points.
