Your time slot (10am-12pm, 12pm–2pm, or 2pm–4pm) refers to your admission window. You may enter anytime within your selected slot and stay until Science Centre closes at 6pm.

Science Show: Robot's Bytes to Bites

 
Location: THE ANNEXE Hall 1
Duration: Approx. 15 minutes per show

*Admission to show is included in the general SG Science Fest ticket. the Limited capacity. Show tickets must be reserved in advance, onsite at the ticket kiosks located in the galleries.
 
Meet Ah Bee, a seasoned hawker, and Wok-E, a clever robot chef who generates recipe ideas using data and AI. Guided by their demanding boss, Tawkey, the pair must create new and innovative hawker dishes. Will Wok-E's calculations be enough, or does Ah Bee's experience hold the secret ingredient?

[Planetarium Show with Live Performance] Earth: Our Only Home

For thousands of years, the celestial canvas guided seafaring ancestors to our shores, using the stars as a timeless seasonal compass. But today, our planet faces a fragile future. Climate change is altering global ocean currents, triggering a domino effect of rising seas and warming waters that directly threaten our low-lying island nation.

Join us for an immersive journey, narrated live by our Science Educator. Discover how our oceans link us all, and why protecting this delicate balance is the ultimate way to safeguard Earth: Our Only Home. Featuring a musical performance by Shayne Ko, talented 10-year-old multi-instrumentalist and one of Singapore's youngest licensed buskers.

Waterplay Experiences

Splash Battle

Location: Loading Bay Carpark

Beat the heat and cool off with a fast-paced, family-friendly water battle where teams compete to soak their opponents' base while protecting their own!

What Time Is It, Mr Shark?

Location: Eco Garden

An interactive water game inspired by the classic playground favourite and “Red Light, Green Light” from Squid Game.

*Timeslots for both experiences are available every 15 minutes from 10.15am to 4.30pm. Tickets must be reserved in advance, onsite at the ticket kiosks located in the galleries.

Immersive Mystery Experience

Shipwrecked: Uncover the Mystery*

Location: Various galleries

A self-guided immersive mystery experience that takes guests on an adventure across Science Centre. Guests piece together clues, solve puzzles, and unravel the secret behind the sinking of the ship.

*This activity will be available for guests to participate until 13 Aug. Guests who participate specifically on 8 – 10 Aug will receive an exclusive SG Science Fest enamel pin as a limited giveaway.

Hands-On Science Activities

Location: Hall A

2026 marks a golden jubilee for the Science National Academy of Science (SNAS) and they are marking the occasion with us at SG Science Fest! Through a series of curated activations at Classroom Talks and Demo Booths, guests get a rare opportunity to interact with real scientists and discover the fascinating work behind various science disciplines and industries.

*Classroom Talks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Location: Crick & Watson Labs

Explore the fascinating world of DNA and genetics and discover how they shape the incredible diversity of marine life.

Activities include:

  • Design a marine animal bookmark while learning about DNA base pairing and the diversity of marine life
  • Play mini games to explore how traits are inherited through dominant and recessive genes
  • Spot DNA mutations and discover how they can alter a coral's appearance and function
  • Get a closer look at ocean biology through hands-on microscopy

Location: Western Entrance / Eco Lab

Specially curated for SG Science Fest, dive into the world of marine biology through exciting hands-on activities:

  • Get up close with real animal specimens and discover the incredible ways ocean creatures have adapted to survive
  • Explore the fascinating world of Singapore's rocky shores and craft a rocky shore-themed bookmark to take home
  • Learn about seawalls and design a seawall tile to encourage marine animals to inhabit
  • Uncover the different types of pollution threatening our oceans today and discover what we can do to protect them

Activities are complimentary. Guests may purchase a completion badge and certificate onsite for $5.

Location: Tinkering Studio

Modern ocean exploration depends on technology — and technology depends on semiconductors. Discover the precision engineering that makes fabrication possible at an atomic scale.

Take home an activity card and experience three steps of real semiconductor fabrication: Deposit, Etch, and Inspect. Flip the card over to discover how what you just did connects to real semiconductor fabrication and Applied Materials' work in the industry.

Biofouling Detection

Location: E3

Study the different biofouling organisms that live on shipwrecks to see the different biofouling that grows at different depths.

Sailing Ships

Location: Hall F

Take on the role of a maritime navigator and pilot supply vessels through the waters surrounding the SS Ombak Cahaya wreck site.

Corrosion Lab

Location: E3

Put your science and math skills to the test! Using corrosion science and calculations, piece together the clues to uncover the mystery of when the ship sank.

Marine Conservation

Location: Hall A

Take on the role of a marine restoration volunteer and apply real coral gardening techniques to help rebuild a reef damaged by the SS Ombak Cahaya wreck. Using magnetic coral structures, contribute to a growing communal coral farm built collectively by all guests throughout the event.

Eat & Play

Location: Marquee

Explore a vibrant collection of partner booths showcasing educational content, from marine conservation efforts to how humans use science to safely explore the underwater world while protecting it. Pick up exclusive merchandise and treats, or add your touch to a collaborative community art installation!

Location: Loading Bay Carpark

Soak in the lively atmosphere of a true pasar malam experience! Grab a bite from a spread of street food stalls and enjoy the buzz around you. Don't miss the chance to get a complimentary airbrush tattoo — the perfect festival souvenir!

Location: Amphitheatre

Amphitheatre is decked out to bring back the nostalgic charm of Singapore's void decks, where childhood memories were made. Enjoy classic Singaporean favourites like chapteh and five stones and help yourself to some complimentary kacang putih while you're at it.

Where is SG Science Fest located?

SG Science Fest is held at Science Centre Singapore. The ONE Ocean exhibition takes place at THE ANNEXE Halls 2 & 3, and guests should enter via the main entrance of Science Centre Singapore. The Omni-Theatre and SG Science Fest Juniors @ KidsSTOP™ have their own dedicated entry points.

Is there parking available?

Visitors are encouraged to take the public transport as there is limited carpark space within the premises of Science Centre Singapore and KidsSTOP™.

  • Nearest MRT station: Jurong East (10-min walk); Nearest bus stops: 28251 and 28259.

Alternative parking is available at:

  • Jurong Town Hall
  • HDB Multi-storey carpark (132 Jurong Gateway Road)
  • Westgate and JEM shopping malls

Where can I get tickets?

Tickets must be purchased online in advance here. Quantities are limited, so we recommend securing your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Can I buy tickets onsite?

Please check your recently deleted emails or spam folder first. If you are unable to locate your tickets, you may contact us at ticketing@science.edu.sg for assistance with ticket retrieval.

What time can I enter SG Science Fest?

Entry is by time slot. You may enter anytime within your selected time slot — 10am–12pm, 12pm–2pm, or 2pm–4pm. Once inside, you are welcome to stay until Science Centre Singapore closes at 6pm.

Omni-Theatre, ONE Ocean, and SG Science Fest Juniors @ KidsSTOP™ have their own dedicated entry times and/or session timings.
