Omni-Theatre: Live Planetarium Shows (SOLD OUT)

From Earth to Space (20 mins)

A condensed story of Astronomy and of human space exploration. What can we see in the night sky? What are the planets and stars? We eventually take off together with the mission of Apollo 11 and join the earliest Astronauts walking on the Moon. In the 60 years of Space exploration, the most important thing we discovered is Earth our home, its fragility and the awareness that we have to take better care of our home. The last part, we will take a quick tour of our surrounding galaxies and finally out to the edge of our observable Universe.

Show Timings: 7.30pm, 8pm and 8.30pm.

Ticket Price: $2

Scheduled to launch on 20 Jul 2019, the Moonshot 50 exhibition will also feature an ash-grey moon rock collected by astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, who were part of the lunar package of Apollo 11. The moon rock has been with the Science Centre Singapore since the 1970s.
