Making its exclusive debut in the world, this exhibition brings authentic ocean research directly to Singapore audiences in a multi-sensory and technologically advanced manner.

Section 1: The Experience

  • What can I expect from ONE Ocean?

    ONE Ocean takes you on an extraordinary journey through our planet's most captivating underwater worlds. You'll experience the ocean's incredible diversity—from mesmerising marine life and vibrant ecosystems to the hidden microscopic universe of plankton—all brought to life through stunning footage and cutting-edge 2D and 3D animations.

    Prepare to witness breathtaking moments: the graceful passage of blue whales, the intricate choreography of millions of tiny organisms, and alien-like worlds that exist beneath the waves. These immersive visuals reveal the profound connections between ocean health and all life on Earth, while exploring urgent themes like climate change through compelling storytelling. 

    This powerful sensory experience is designed to captivate visitors of all ages, leaving you with lasting impressions, sparked curiosity, and a deeper understanding of our ocean's vital role in sustaining life on our planet.

  • How much time should I plan for my visit?

    The exhibition typically takes around 60 to 100 minutes to complete, but there’s no time limit — feel free to stay as long as you like and explore at your own pace!

  • In what language is the exhibition presented?

    The exhibition is presented in English.

  • Is the exhibition suitable for children?

    The exhibition is suitable for aged 5 years and above.

    NOTE: The VR experience is recommended for children aged 9 and above. Children aged 9-12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the VR experience.  


  • Is it possible to wear eyeglasses for the VR experience?

    For an optimal experience, contact lenses are recommended instead of glasses. If you need to wear eyeglasses, it is recommended to wear glasses with a width of 150mm or less. Anything larger may be uncomfortable. 

  • Is the exhibition stroller-friendly?

    The exhibition is not recommended for strollers as certain areas may require frequent stopping or maneuvering. For a smoother visit, we recommend using a baby carrier instead.

    Note: Strictly no stroller allowed in the VR experience.

  • Do you offer guided visits?

    Members of the staff will be on site throughout the course. Although we do not offer guided tours, you can reach out to the staff members for assistance.

  • Can I take pictures or record the exhibition?

    Photography and videography are allowed throughout the exhibition but strictly for personal use only. However: Flash photography and tripods are strictly prohibited.  Press photography and other professional photography require prior authorisation and must be accompanied by a member of staff.

  • Is the exhibition accessible for people with reduced mobility?

    Yes, with certain conditions. The exhibition is outfitted with ramps, and all entrances and exits are designed with a wide enough space for manual wheelchairs, canes, walkers, or alternative manual mobility devices. Please note that the space is not suitable for motorised wheelchairs.

  • Where is the exhibition located?

    The exhibition is located at Science Centre Singapore, The Annexe.

  • Is there parking available?

    Yes, Science Centre Singapore offers parking facilities for the guests. Click here for the parking charges.

  • Are there lockers and or a coat check on site?

    There are lockers located around the Centre for rent.

  • Are there bathrooms available at the venue?

    Yes, toilets are available.

Section 3: Ticketing

  • Where can I get tickets?

  • Can I buy tickets on site?

    Yes, onsite tickets can be purchased if available. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to secure your spot.

  • I cannot find my ticket. What can I do?

    Please check your recently deleted emails or spam folder first. If you are unable to locate your tickets, you may contact us at ticketing@science.edu.sg for assistance with ticket retrieval.

  • What methods of payment are accepted on site?

    Payment can be made with credit and debit cards.

  • Can I reschedule my tickets?

    Changes to the date or time of your experience are allowed, if the request is made at least one month before the original scheduled date of your experience. Do note that all changes are subject to availability. To make a request, please email ticketing@science.edu.sg and include your ticket reference ID.

  • Is it possible to transfer a ticket to someone else?

    Yes, tickets are transferable at no cost. Simply forward the PDF tickets to the intended recipients

  • Can I re-enter once I’ve exited the exhibition?

    Please note that ONE Ocean tickets are for single entry only. While you may return to the main Science Centre after exiting, you cannot re-enter ONE Ocean.

  • Can I refund my ticket?

    NO REFUND / UPGRADE / DOWNGRADE of tickets will be made under any circumstances. 

    If an event/movie is postponed or cancelled by SCS, SCS will endeavour to inform the customer via telephone or email where possible. Any refund made by SCS shall be in accordance with the price paid by the ticket holder for the ticket. SCS shall not be liable to make a refund beyond the paid amount under any circumstances.

    In the event of cancellation by SCS, all tickets purchased using credit cards shall be refunded back to the same credit cards. Refund will not be entertained if customer does not claim the refund within 1 month from the date of cancellation.
