Planning a meaningful post-exam activity for Primary or Secondary students? Science Centre Singapore offers a range of specially curated programmes to enrich your students' learning experience.

1. Post-Exam Programme

Self Guided Gallery Trail Post Exams Offerings

Explore the wonders of the ocean through a specially curated series of programmes designed for young minds. Each session runs ~3 hours and is filled with engaging activities to nurture curiosity and inspire a deeper appreciation for our marine ecosystems.

Guest Lecture Post Exam Offerings

Guest Lecture*

Students will attend a sharing session by a guest speaker from a relevant organisation or industry, on topics related to Oceans & Marine Science, allowing them to gain a better understanding of how marine science connects to real-world applications and current issues.

Self Guided Gallery Trail 1 Post Exams Offerings

Self-Guided Gallery Trail

Specially curated for Post-Exam Programme participants, students will independently explore the exhibits at Science Centre Singapore while completing an activity booklet based on their observations and discoveries.

Hands on Stem Activity Post Exam Offerings

Hands-on STEM activity

Students will participate in an interactive hands-on activity guided by our educators, designed to encourage learning through experimentation, problem-solving, and discussion.

Kenny Lek
Co-founder, Pasarfish

Growing up in the kampongs of old Punggol, Kenny developed a deep appreciation for Singapore's seafood heritage. Through his research in local wet markets, he uncovers the stories behind the seafood we eat, including their local names, origins, and fishing methods, while encouraging more sustainable seafood choices.

Ruth Ang
Marine Conservation Team, WWF-Singapore

Ruth works on marine conservation projects across Southeast Asia, supporting efforts in plastic pollution reduction, species conservation, and habitat restoration. She also contributes to coral and seagrass restoration research in Singapore. Through her work, students will discover why healthy oceans matter and how conservation projects are helping to protect marine ecosystems.

Zhang Zhengyang, PhD
Senior Lecturer, School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, NTU, Singapore

Dr Zhang brings chemistry to life through engaging and accessible explanations that spark curiosity. In this talk, students will discover how the ocean functions as a giant natural chemistry laboratory and how science plays a vital role in understanding and protecting our marine environment.

Dr Danielle Su
Research Scientist, Centre for Climate Research Singapore, Meteorological Service Singapore

Discover how powerful ocean currents connect Singapore to the rest of the world. Dr Danielle Su explores how these "ocean highways" transport heat, nutrients and marine life across the globe, shape our climate, and influence Singapore's monsoon seasons, revealing the vital role our oceans play in everyday life.

Cost: From $4.50 (for group booking of 150 students and above)

Booking Terms

Upon receiving booking confirmation from Science Centre Singapore, resources will be allocated based on your confirmed booking, and attendance is expected for the confirmed session(s).   

  • Any cancellation must be made at least 30 days before the programme date. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the programme date, including no-shows, may be subject to a penalty charge. 
  • Requests to amend a confirmed booking must be submitted at least 15 days before the programme date. Requests received less than 15 days before the programme date will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to Science Centre Singapore's discretion. 
  • A minimum booking of 40 students is required per programme session. If overall bookings for that day do not meet the minimum, we may adjust the programme by allocating more time to the hands-on activity in place of the lecture. We highly encourage you to bring additional students if possible, so that your group can enjoy the full experience.

2. STEM Playground Grand Finale

This year's challenge STEM Playground Grand Finale is getting a brand new makeover!

For this year’s challenge, build a robotic arm from recyclable materials and take on the ultimate underwater mission in teams of 4. Attractive prizes await the winning teams!

Suitable for: Students from Primary 3 to Secondary 5

Registration for STEM Playground Grand Finale closes on 30 Oct 2026.

To enhance students' learning during the intervals of challenges, teachers may arrange additional activities by booking ONE Ocean exhibition through Online Booking System (OBS) under school programmes (at least 30 days in advance). Billing will be based on the actual attendance.
