Important Note:

  • Science Centre admission is complimentary for local schools and international schools who are Science Centre members. Science Centre admission fees apply to non-member international schools based in Singapore.
  • Participants will be able to enjoy the subsidised rate of $10 for schools (original price: $25) and $12 for private institutions (original price: $30) this year as the programme is supported by Illumina Corporate Foundation.
  • The cost will be fully subsidised for students under Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), i.e. they do not need to pay for Brain Fest. Please indicate the number of students under FAS and provide the names of these students when booking.

You and your classmates are young sea creatures on an educational adventure with your beloved teacher Ms Samanta Ray when disaster strikes! A fierce ocean current sweeps you all away, and Ms Samanta Ray crashes into jagged rocks while protecting you, leaving her badly injured.

Now it's up to YOU and your team to save the day! Navigate dangerous ocean depths, crack challenging puzzles, and uncover hidden mysteries as you race to collect magical healing ingredients.

In this mass escape game, students will be tested on the following soft skills from various puzzles:

  • Problem solving
  • Planning and decision making
  • Pattern recognition 
  • Balance and coordination
  • Auditory processing

This is a team-based game, each team should have 4 to 5 members. Please form the groups before attending.

Depending on your booking size, there may be more than one school group playing the game together.

Duration: 45min
Capacity: Max. 200 pax/session
Age Group: Suitable for Pri 4 and above

Dive deep into marine biology! In this hands-on DNA workshop, you'll become molecular detectives, cracking genetic codes and experiencing how DNA creates the incredible diversity of ocean life.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand DNA structure and function
  2. Describe the importance of bioluminescence and biofluorescence in marine life
  3. Appreciate how genetic information gives rise to protein synthesis

Depending on your booking size, there may be more than one school attending the workshop together.

Duration: 1h

Dive into Ms Manta Ray's fascinating research journal documenting her discoveries about ocean science and marine biology! Follow her scientific adventures through Science Centre galleries, uncovering secrets about science, ocean ecosystems, and underwater mysteries.
