Portable Planetarium programmes for K1 / K2 (5 - 6 years old)

This programme takes the students on a virtual tour about the solar system. We will make a "brief stop" at each planet to share fun facts about them. After this programme, students should be able to know the names and the planets in order of distance from the Sun.

This programme can be conducted in your school if ample space is available to set up the portable planetarium. Please e-mail us at schools@science.edu.sg for enquiry.

Time slots available: 9.30am - 10.30am, 10.30am - 11.30am, 2.30pm - 3.30pm

Minimum capacity per slot: 20 students
Maximum capacity per slot: 30 students

Allow us to introduce the names of the different phases, and the reason for the different phases! Using our software, we can show how the Moon revolves around the Earth and how this causes the phases that we see. After this programme, students should be able to identify the different phases of the Moon.

This programme can be conducted in your school if ample space is available to set up the portable planetarium. Please e-mail us at schools@science.edu.sg for enquiry.
