Agreement – Terms

1. Thank you for downloading and using this Mobile Application ("the App"). The App is owned and maintained by the Science Centre Board (hereinafter "SCB").
2. All access of any area of the App is governed by the terms and conditions below ("Terms"). If you do not accept any of these Terms, please uninstall the App immediately. Continue only if you accept these Terms.
3. In these Terms, the words "we", "our" and "us" refer to SCB and its Group of Attractions, where applicable.
4. SCB reserves the right to amend these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the App implies acceptance of any revised Terms.

Access to the App

1. The accessibility and operation of the App relies on external technologies beyond our control, including but not limited to mobile networks, device compatibility, and third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not guarantee continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of the App.
2. The App is intended for use on devices running supported operating systems. We reserve the right to discontinue support for older versions of the App or operating systems at any time.

Relying on Information

1. The App provides general information only. We do not assure the timeliness, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any statement, opinion, representation, or other information on the App. It is advisable to conduct your own verification of information.
2. The materials found on the App, including information and software programs accessible through it ("the Contents"), are safeguarded by copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights. All rights, title and interest in the Contents are owned by, licensed to or controlled by SCB.

Security

1. We utilise available technology where appropriate to safeguard the security of communications made via the App. We do not, however, assume liability for the security, authenticity, integrity, or confidentiality of any transaction and communication made through the App.
2. Mobile communications may be susceptible to interference or interception by third parties. Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that the App is free from computer viruses, malicious code, or unauthorised software. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your mobile device and any account credentials used to access the App.

Device Permissions

1. The App may request access to certain features or data on your mobile device, such as your camera, location, or notifications, in order to provide certain functionalities. You may manage these permissions through your device settings at any time. Disabling certain permissions may affect the functionality of the App.

Notifications

1. If you allow notifications, the App may send you information such as visit reminders, attraction updates, event information, operational notices and other relevant messages. You can turn notifications on or off through your device settings.

Intellectual Property

1. Materials found on the App, including design, source codes, pages, documents, and multimedia content, are legally protected. The intellectual property rights in these materials are either owned by us or licensed to us. All rights reserved (© Science Centre Board).
2. Except for fair dealings for private study, research, criticism, or review as allowed by law, no part of the App or its contents may be reproduced or reused for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Modification, reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly of the App or its contents is prohibited.

Third-Party Links and Services

1. The App may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, or platforms. We do not accept responsibility or liability for the availability or content of any such third-party services. Accessing any third-party service through the App is at your own risk.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to:

• Your use of, or reliance on, any statement, opinion, representation, or information on the App.
• Delays in operation or transmission, communication failures, mobile network or Internet access issues, or equipment or software malfunctions.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data transmitted through the App.
• The actions or viewpoints of any individual accessing or using the App.
