Ms Tan Yen Yen, Chairman of Science Centre Board, was awarded the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bhakti Masyarakat) on the occasion of Singapore's 55th birthday.

Platinum Award in the New Category/Interactive Media for the E3 – E-mmersive Experiential Environments Exhibition
This international competition is administered and judged by the US-based Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) and began as a celebration of the audio-visual arts. It recognises excellence in digital, creativity, branding and strategy.
The 2017 award was submitted through Digimagic Communications, one of our exhibition partners responsible for multimedia production.

2016 Singapore Book of Records
Science Centre Singapore was in the Singapore Book of Records for the largest snow-filled display house at Snow City.

Science Centre Singapore received the 2015 ASPAC Creative Science Communication Award for its "Sex Cells: A Science Musical" in Manila, The Philippines.
Human Body Experience Exhibition – HBX
Awarded by Science Mentorship Programme, Gifted Education Branch, Ministry of Education.
This award recognises outstanding mentors of student participants in the Science Mentorship Programme. In 2015, 4 staff members from Centre for Research and Applied Learning in Science (CRADLΣ), Science Centre Singapore, Dr Wulf Hofbauer, Mr Chen Shunfa, Mr Alex Teoh Chin Chye and Mr Goh Yingrui, received this award.

The Best Multi Channel Campaign – Bronze Award for the Transformers 30th Anniversary Exhibition

Science Centre Singapore received the 2013 ASPAC Creative Science Communication Award for its ArtChemist Show and the ASPAC Creative Science Exhibit Award for its Fire Tornado Exhibit.
The awards were presented at the 13th Annual Asia Pacific Network of Science & Technology Centres (ASPAC) Conference in South Korea. Nominations were evaluated according to their scientific accuracy, creativity and skill in delivery, and value to visitors and participants.

The PFB Mark underscores the potential business value that can be derived from engaging families as customers. The Singapore Productivity Association accredited Science Centre Singapore with the Businesses for Families Mark from 18 February 2013 to 17 February 2015.

Launched in 1997, Singapore Quality Class (SQC) is the certification for the overall business excellence standard. Based on the internationally benchmarked business excellence framework, it covers seven categories: leadership, planning, information, people, processes, customers and results.

Mr Clarence Sirisena, Assistant Chief Executive (Projects & Exhibitions), was awarded the 2011 Roy L. Shafer Leading Edge Award for Experienced Leadership in the Field.
The Roy L. Shafer Leading Edge Awards are presented annually to members and/or employees of the Association of Science-Technology Centres in recognition of their extraordinary accomplishments in visitor experience, business practice, and leadership in the field that not only enhance the performance of their own institutions but also significantly advance the mission of science-technology centres and museums.

The Giant Screen Cinema Association Awards are given each year to recognise excellence in film-making and marketing in the giant screen cinema industry.

The Museum Roundtable Award was launched by the National Heritage Board to recognise outstanding museums and galleries in Singapore.

The niche standard enables organisations to develop their service capabilities to enhance service leadership, service agility, customer delight and customer experience. Based on the business excellence framework, it covers 6 categories: leadership, planning, information, people, customer and results.
