About International Days at Science Centre Singapore

Science Centre Singapore is committed to promoting interest, learning and creativity in science and technology through an imaginative and enjoyable experience. The International Days at Science Centre Singapore is a new initiative to create social awareness and promote the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our science activities are specially curated for visitors from aged 7 and above.

What’s more? We have launched an exclusive rewards card! Participate in various International Days, collect stamps and redeem tokens. Terms and Conditions* apply.

Terms and Conditions:

Present the original rewards card to earn a stamp. Each International Days @ Science Centre Singapore gets you a stamp. Redeem a token for every 2 stamps collected on the card. Tokens are not redeemable for cash or credit. The card is valid until Dec 2019. Science Centre Singapore reserves the right to amend any terms and conditions without prior notice.

    World Toilet Day: More Than Just A Flush!

    Going to the toilet is something we do every day but rarely talk about! Celebrate World Toilet Day from 22-24 Nov by visiting the brand new “Know Your Poo” exhibition and try your hand at various specially curated activities. In the process, appreciate our sanitation systems and learn more about your poo!

    Too Good to Waste

    While the world today is flushing down poo as fast as possible, composting it was widely practised in earlier years. Discover the value of human waste, unravel the science behind this method of collecting and processing poo, and make and take home your very own composting kit!

    Waste swirls easily down the toilet bowl (as long as you don't clog it!), but the systems involved in that single flush can be pretty complex. Learn about these engineering secrets through the deconstruction of a toilet!
