The simple origami glider teaches one important concepts about aerodynamics. Different elaborate designs provide various insights into the science behind flight. We are taking this a step further by converting the humble origami glider into a remotely controlled aircraft.

Organised by Science Centre Singapore, as part of CAAS’s Drone Showcase in the upcoming Car-Free Sunday @ One-North, students and families with young children are welcomed to try their hands on creating a powered aircraft using simple origami techniques and a little bit of technical wizardry. Curious? Join us in this guided workshop and become a skilled origami aircraft pilot in no time!
