The Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition (SAFMC) is an annual competition where local and international flying enthusiasts gather to showcase their innovative flying machine designs and put them to the test through competition against one another. The event targets students from the primary to tertiary levels across five different categories; Category A – Paper Airplanes, Category B – Unpowered Gliders, Category C – Powered Planes, Category D – Semi-Autonomous/Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Systems & Category E – Unconventional Airshafts, in order to raise the interest of students and the general public in on aviation engineering design and technology.

SAFMC will be celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2018. As part of celebrations, new sub-categories have been added to make the competition even more fun and exciting!!!
