Science Centre Singapore is widely acknowledged as a desired partner for science and technology promotion. Organisations such as the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Defence Science Organisation and National Research Foundation collaborate with us on a regular basis to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Some segments of our society are not able to participate in the joys of discovery and learning at Science Centre Singapore. With your generous support, we can welcome more students and caregivers from disadvantaged backgrounds to our exhibitions and programmes.
Our current sponsors
Many corporations such as the Shell Companies in Singapore, SONY and Abbott also sponsor or partner us for their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts or for joint-promotional events.
SONY
The Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA) was born from a partnership with Sony in 1998 to inspire children to invent toys for their peers.
Shell Companies in Singapore
Through Shell’s generous sponsorships and enduring support for almost 40 years, many young minds have been inspired to acquire the power of STEM through platforms such as the Bright Ideas Challenge and Make the Future Festival, as well as the Centre’s exhibitions, such as the first Climate Change exhibition.
Lee Foundation
Aside from its generous support of our educational programmes like Space Camp, Lee Foundation has supported many of the Centre’s exhibitions, including Dinosaurs Live, Pixar, Body Worlds, Da Vinci and the Centre’s regional conferences such as ASPAC 2012. Lee Foundation also played a pivotal part in supporting the construction of the Omni-Theatre.
Tote Board
Tote Board has been a key funder of the Centre’s National Robotics Competition (formerly known as NJRC) since it was first mooted 19 years ago. As a grant giving body, Tote Board has been instrumental in working with the Centre to create truly innovative platforms and avenues for learning like KidsSTOP™, Tinkering Studio, E3: E-mmersive, Experiential Environments and the Centre’s upcoming Engineering Exhibition.
