Rorippa indica
A much branched erect annual herb. Leaves are simple and alternate. The blades have broadly serrated margins. Flowers are yellow and bisexual. Fruit is a silique opening by two valves.
Origin
This is the only species of Nasturtium that occurs as a weed in this part of the world.
Uses
The leaves are boiled in soups and reputed to be very tasty.
