Tyrannosaurus | (tye-RAN-uh-SAWR-us) |

It was the largest-ever flesh eating land animal & believed to be capable of running up to 40 km/h. Tyrannosaurus is the most famous dinosaur of all dinosaurs. It has been featured in many movies such as Jurassic Park, King Kong and T-Rex, Back to the Cretaceous. It's arms, though ridiculously small and short is believed to be capable of lifting up to 270kg! Its mouth, with huge sharp teeth, was this dinosaur's main weapon.
Baryonyx | (Barry-ON-icks) |

Baronyx is a large predator that ate fish. It had a huge curved claw over 30 cm in length on each hand. The long jaw was distinctly crocodilian, and had 96 teeth, twice as many as its relatives. Sixty-four of the teeth were placed in the lower jaw (mandible), and 32 large ones in the upper (maxilla). It also had a small crest on its snout.
Parasaurolophus | (para-SAWR-o-LOAF-fus) |

It was able to walk on either two legs or four. The most noticeable feature was a hollow tube, 1.5 metres long that extended back over the animal's shoulders. The purpose of this crest is believed to either improve the dinosaur's sense of smell, or served as a resonance chamber to allow for trumpetlike sounds.
Allosaurus | (AL-oh-SAWR-us) |

Sixty of this dinosaurs were found at one site in Utah. Allosaurus had short arms, ending in sharp 10 long dagger-like claws, which it could use to tear into the flesh of its victims. Its sharp four inch long teeth were also used to tear apart the dead and dying victims. Allosaurus is thought to have been a speedy hunter, which could stride at up to 30 km/h.
Triceratops | (try-SAIR-uh-tops) |

Its massive head had a deep, narrow, parrot-like beak with brow horns about 1 metre long, its frill could reach width of 2.5 metres. It had strong limbs with its front feet bearing five-hoof-like claws and its back feet bearing four hoof-like claws.
