WHAT IS THIS YEAR'S TASK? For 2009, the task is to design a machine that could hoist your school flag. WHO CAN TAKE PART? This competition is open to students studying at the following levels:
- Division 1: Primary 4 - 6
- Division 2: Secondary 1 - 3 Teams (up to a maximum of 5 students each) from various levels will compete in the stated divisions. Separate winners will be chosen for each Division. There is no limit to the number of entries that each school can send. I'M INTERESTED. HOW CAN I TAKE PART? Please download Entry Forms (Annex A) and Plan of Machine (Annex B) and submit the completed forms through your teacher. All forms are to be submitted to NUS High School by

WHEN IS THE COMPETITION GOING TO BE HELD? Teams who are shortlisted for the finals will be announced on the website or through e-mail on 1 June 2009. The Finals will be held at the Science Centre on the following dates:
- 20-21 August - Set-up of machine
