Rediscover the marvels of science at Science in the Mall!

SITM was back again at Causeway Point in the north of Singapore in June 2010!
This time, we explored the theme, "X-ploring Sports and You!" where families and children enjoyed themselves thoroughly with the wide range of sports science exhibits to try out; engaging hands-on activities that left children excited and asking for more, as well as Sports Tryouts science shows by our SCS Science Educators which had the audience enthusiastically participating and answering questions on stage.
Some of the highlights included a balancing wobble board which many participants used their balance to play a game on a computer screen, and our science shows which explained why high heels are not suitable for sports activities. We welcomed more than 8,000 visitors, who had an enriching and fulfilling time discovering how sports activities are relevant to their lives!
Starting from this year, we have a newly created website especially for Science in the Mall events! Do visit www.scienceinthemall.sg for more updates and upcoming events. There are prizes to be won in the quizzes too!
