![]() ![]() Primary Science Learning Experience PS–38 Weaver Bird Nests ![]() WHAT IS HAPPENING The male weaver bird "knits" its elaborate grass nest to attract the female weaver bird. The entrances are usually narrow and inverted to discourage and confuse predators which must find their way through the tough grass outside. Tree branches can be weighed down by having too many nests since weaver birds are "birds of a feather that flock together". |
