WHAT IS HAPPENING
The large green mussel is a common species found at the inter-tidal areas of the Johor Straits. These shellfish are well adapted to living in muddy waters and attach themselves to rocks, jetty pilings or floating cages by secreting a bunch of silk-like threads called byssus.
