X-Site Challenge.jpg)
X-Site is an educational challenge which encourages students to tap their unlimited creativity and imagination to shape and share information with the rest of the world through their designs. Through this process, X-Site hopes to achieve the following for the students:
- To allow them to showcase their talent and understanding of infocomm and other topical issues.
- To promote and cultivate an interest in infocomm.
- To improve their research and writing skills and also experience working cohesively in teams.
X-Site is a competition under the auspices of the National Infocomm Competition. It is organised by the Science Centre Singapore. Aside from being a theme-based challenge, X-Site also features an online quiz to enable mass participation from the schools, and to bring awareness of infocomm through a fun and exciting way.
The National Infocomm Competition, organised by IDA, is an annual inter-school competition which aims to develop an interest in infocomm amongst students.
