Science in the Mall

Rediscover the marvels of science at Science in the Mall!

Science In The Mall brings exhibits, science performances, demonstrations and hands-on activities to heartland shopping malls during the school holidays.  It aims to engage families with children in simple hands-on science experiments and activities, and to encourage parents to be more actively involved in promoting their children’s interest in science.

The event is held twice annually during the June and November school holidays, each time over 3 consecutive days, usually from Fridays to Sundays. The first Science In The Mall event with the theme “X-ploring Science Magic!” was held from 12 to 15 June 2003, at Junction 8. That particular event also marked the first anniversary of the A*STAR – Science Centre collaboration. Over the years, Science In The Mall has reached out to more than 230,000 children, their families and the general public.
