MindFest 2017

Thank you for your strong support! We are bringing in exciting news: 10 activities this year!

This annual event aims to encourage students to explore science, arts and technology through creative, immersive and enjoyable tinkering activities.

The activities are FREE for local MOE schools and International schools in uniform with a valid membership pass. Entrance fee to the Science Centre applies only to non-institutional members of International schools. Activities are pitched at the local primary and secondary school levels. Students get to explore the science concepts and take back with them all the items made. Thus, the more activities teachers booked, the more students could explore, make and play with!

Do make your bookings early, as slots are usually taken up very quickly. Please maximise the 26-seat capacity per station to benefit more students. All bookings can be made online. There will be no more booking by FAX.

To ensure that the news of this event reaches the schools, we will also send out circulars by post and by emails.

So do come on down to the Science Centre for these fun-filled activities! Participants can enjoy more than one activity per visit!

 How do I make a Booking?

  • MindFest is open to schools in Singapore only. 
  • Bookings can be made online if you have a .edu.sg email address: https://obs.science.edu.sg/login. You can follow the simple steps in the ePoster to make your bookings.
  • For international schools that do not have the .edu.sg address, please make your bookings by email: schools@science.edu.sg.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • The closing date of online Booking starts from 7 March 2017*.
     
  • There will be a charge of $50/booked activity for cancellations, changes to your bookings or no-show on the day*.
     
  • Due to system limitations, please note that the activity start time of 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm indicated in the booking system should actually be 10.10am, 10.50am, 12.10pm, 2.40pm, 3.20pm and 4.40pm respectively, as high-lighted in the table below:

*Our online booking system works this way: booking of activities or any amendment online is allowed beyond 10 working days (by 5.30pm) before arrival dates of school groups. For any changes, inclusive of cancellation, booking amendments, no. of students and date changes, made within 10 working days (10th day inclusive) before students’ arrival dates, there will be a penalty charge of $50/booked activity. Same penalty charge will also be applied to no-show on the day. Similarly, this applies to bookings via emails.
