Do you have a passion for science?
Join us and become a volunteer at the Science Centre Singapore.

The Science Centre Singapore is looking for volunteers 14 years of age and above.

 We offer you a chance to

• put your scientific knowledge to good use.
• benefit the young and general public with a better understanding of science.
• interact with people from all walks of life and age groups.

• interest in Science.
• good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of various ages.
• interest in presenting science and technology to the public.
• an enthusiastic and friendly attitude.
• a strong commitment to provide a high standard to visitor service.
• a willingness to undergo training.

Volunteer Areas

Volunteer Recruitment Process (3 easy steps)

1. Complete and submit the application form here. 
2. Choose an orientation date and attend the briefing. 
3. Print out the consent form and obtain your parent's/guardian's signature if you are under 18. Bring this along when you attend the orientation.

Volunteer Training and Commitment

• All volunteers are required to receive training for their specific roles.
• The minimum commitment level is 20 hours.
• All volunteers are required to attend an orientation session before they start. The sessions will be held on the following dates and times:
  
  Date: 2013     Time: 3.00pm to 5.30pm

• (Wednesday) 6 March
• (Wednesday) 22 May
• (Thursday) 29 May  
• (Wednesday) 28 August
• (Wednesday) 16 October
• (Wednesday) 13 November
