To rekindle the spirit of exploration and discovery, Science Centre is setting up KidsSTOP™, a centre sprawling 3,000m2 space for children aged between 2 to 8 years. KidsSTOP™ will provide a safe and exciting environment with endless opportunities for young children and their families to explore the wonders of the world together and to learn through play. KidsSTOP™ positions 


TEMPORARY EDUCATOR (6 MONTHS)

KidsSTOP™ is looking to expand its team of educators to further programmes offered to schools and the public.

The ideal candidate will be working in the Programmes and Operations team, and is preferred to possess a diploma or degree in either Early Childhood Education and/or Science. He/She should have a cheerful and out-going disposition, loves working with children. He/She must also be able to work on weekends (either Saturday or Sunday) and public holidays. 

As an educator, you will develop and assist in the planning, developing and conducting of classroom-based programmes and hands-on activities in the gallery for pre-schoolers. You will also be involved in interactive and quality floor interaction to engage visitors and imparting of basic science concepts to visitors. You have to assist in ground operations to ensure good visitors flow and experience as well as safety, report all damages or broken down exhibits to the relevant personnel and perform weekend duties (Saturday or Sunday) and other duties as directed.
